And out of 500 you might get about 1-5 of em that might actually do 4800 mhz. Out of those 500 you may have half that would only do 4600 mhz. For example: You could buy 500 x Threadripper 3960X processors from the store.

There are several attributes that get randomized with computer processors: Power, Thermals, and speed. Every CPU that you buy from the store in career mode or pull out of inventory in-game is unique. What this means is (very much like in real life) the developers have implemented a "Silicon Lottery" in the game.

So im not sure if there is something I have to do differently to get there? Ive used about 15 different versions of the 3960x already, so ill keep binning and see if i can manage, but im not sure how to get to those speeds without it crashing How you get those speeds is through what's called "Binning" with this game. So if there is something I am just majorly messing up, which is most likely, feel free to let me know what has worked for you! I can manage 50fps with the Threadripper, and 56fps with Ryzen 9.

Im not sure if I am just absolutely messing it up, but compared to the ryzen 9, its a night a day difference. I appreciate the advice! I have tried the Threadripper before, but never really got the best results with it as compared to the ryzen 9. You should aim for 4884 CPU clock and 6313 mem clock. Anyways, good job on the system, my only advice is to use threadripper 3960x as CPU, when overclocked it outperforms all other CPUs, even the other threadrippers, if you can cool it enough.

In the last patch the WR was 35759, although that can also be considered as a bug with the 6800 XT overperforming. The highest possible score with the bug/exploit that makes a +20% voltage GPU into +50% voltage is 35909. The highest score if you don't mind negative memory (which is totally possible in the game) is 31439. Originally posted by Yoyó:The highest possible score without bugs or exploits is 31318. I think you should be posting there so we can keep it centralized all in one place. Happy Overclocking!! There's a thread for that already, here it is: I am currently sitting at a score of 29802. Lets hear the kinds of scores you have gotten with the most recent update. Originally posted by J0rdani:With the new update, 3DMark scores have gone WAY up from what they used to be. But expect a new post as i continue through the process once again. I will post updates when I begin to really climb numbers, again ive just been caught up with college and work that i just really havnt had time. However, with the release of PCBS 2 coming soon, I will more than likely head over towards there as there will more than likely have more support, and yadda yadda yadda you get the idea. I am gaining time back to finally get back into this again and i will be hardcore grinding till I manage something document-able. Specs are the same as above, but with a slightly different OC to the CPU And if there are any tips to give to people please feel free to say! I am still trying to work with the CPU and the "Silicon Lottery" this game has, but lets hear the numbers you have gotten.
